T-shirt artwork says a lot about the wearer. So with a year of success behind our fabric designed chest emblazonments (and not an "I went to fabric and all I got was…" logo in sight), we're offering the chance for you to nab one of our ten disco-friendly designs.
There's be a range of tees, including some of our dazzling artwork from over the years, plus some of the classic bar staff attire, and the T-shirts are on sale now. So make sure you get your greasy mitts on one.
Because once they're gone,
they're gone!! |

On Friday 21st, our friends Filthy Dukes are back with their ever-popular Kill Em All residency full of all the arpeggiators, analogue synths and hand claps you could ask for on a FABRICLIVE Friday. Fresh off the back of an Australian tour, Erol Alkan is ready to run things in Room One. With a MGMT collaboration about to drop and a mammoth 10 minute long Connan Mockasin rework, we're expecting the indie kid's record bag to be full of brand new gems to get you grooving. Paul Chambers will take to the stage for one of his signature live sets, equipped with all the sweet sounding equipment he can control with ten digits while fabric regular Stopmakingme returns to get our toes tapping after the celebrated release of his debut EP at the end of last year along with Django Django performing live. Described by the Guardian as "psychedelic art pop at its brilliant best," the music that Django Django make maybe hard to describe but it's impossible to not get lost in, their torrents of guitar are fuzzed to perfection a top their driving rhythms and electronic experimentation.
The Filthy Dukes are set to wreak their own brand of havoc in Room Two alongside the Hey Today! duo, whose impressive repertoire of remixes for the likes of Zombie Nation and Boys Noize has gained them massive support in 2010. You can learn yourself a little bit about the duo over on our blog where they've put together a This Is… style mix comprised almost solely of their own productions. Joining them will be the brotherly duo of Shadow Dancer whose hybrid brew of toughline electro and taught drum programming saw them signed to Boys Noize records, Clock Opera, whose frenetically chopped samples meet electronics and Guy Connely's humanised vocals in a cataclysm somewhere beyond genre conventions and Finnish producers Renaisance Man who are set to return to Farringdon in enigmatic style.
Bournemouth based promoters, Big in Japan, debut in Room Three for their first FABRICLIVE takeover after making a name for themselves down South. Inviting the electro-funk legend that is Greg Wilson and dance floor focused Psychemagik to join Tosh Ohta and the BIJ residents, Dan J Spinney, Jay Karim & Firas, they'll have the floor bumping to their own tempo in no time at all. |
Unlocking the keys to Room One this Saturday are the incomparable Lee Burridge and Craig Richards, who will be
resuming their Tyrant partnership behind our hallowed decks for a hugely anticipated performance of inventive genius. Since 1997, the Tyrant sound system has earned a reputation for mind-blowing parties that skirt with the moody, slow-burning peripheries of dance music and with two legendary fabric CD compilations under their belt, Tyrant and Tyrant2: No Shoes, No Cake, we are thrilled to welcome such dexterous talents to shake up the underground circuit of Room One. Joining the Tyrant duo for a very special live performance is SweetN. Candy, aka Rico Henschel who boasts releases on Einmaleins, Dumb-Unit and Raum Music and Italy's Safari Electronique regular, Luciano Esse who will be creating dynamic sound-scapes and glass shattering house beats.
Parisian producer and Quartz Rec head honcho, Paul Ritch (who'll be performing live), and Alan Fitzpatrick are two producers who have put the groove well and truly back into minimal. Fitzpatrick, whose Drumcode album, Shadows in the Dark was filled with melancholic grooves and club bangers, has a sound crafted perfectly for the music box of Room Two. Both producers will be performing alongside our resident Terry Francis.
Meanwhile upstairs in Room Three, Disco Bloodbath connoisseur, Mark E will be dropping the tempo slightly and rubbing shoulders with those who love after-hours 80's glam chic, alongside Damon Martin, Ben Pistor and I: CUBE all at the helm. Make sure you catch the capital's disco renaissance in its full splendor this Saturday. |

FABRICLIVE 55
DJ Marky
OUT NOW
FABRICLIVE 55 is unmistakably DJ Marky. Thoughtfully paced and constructed, and taking in many of the very freshest tracks that the Brazilian is currently playing, Marky proves once again that, in his own words, "Drum & bass is not just men's music". With a consistent thread of soul, musicality and groove, FABRICLIVE 55 is proof of the enduring depth, variety and relevance still to be found in drum & bass.

Shackleton
OUT NOW
The elusive Shackleton showcases his incendiary live set on fabric 55. A disorienting trip through unclassifiable styles awaits those brave enough to enter the void. Shackleton's contribution to the series blurs the boundaries between artist album and mix CD, featuring only his own tracks. fabric 55 consists of unreleased, exclusive material, alongside a handful of early tracks, with all tracks re-worked into entirely new, never-before-heard versions.
