Returning to Room One in the strictest of family affairs are the Hessle Audio label. Joining the core trio of Pangaea, Ben UFO and Pearson Sound will be Blawan, whose career (much like his penchant for dominant techno) has skyrocketed since he released ‘Fram’ b/w ‘Iddy’ on Hessle back when, and the live incarnation of Livity Sound - which features Peverelist, Kowton and Asusu.

In Room Two one of the driving forces behind the Numbers imprint and one hell of an incredible DJ, Jackmaster, makes his return to Farringdon heading up a lineup that revels a little in the fact that the all three headliners have the same first name. Joining him will be the unpredictable force of the R&S signed Space Dimension Controller and the familiar pummel of Hemlock boss Untold alongside the manic tones of talkbox lethario Redinho, who blew Room Three apart on his last visit, and the enigmatic Braiden whose going back to back with recent RBMA graduate xxxy.

Room Three though, is already looking like the watermark on a sterling, cross-venue lineup with alternative sets from some of the performers we’ve already listed. Jackmaster and Space Dimension Controller will converge into one interstellar entity to perform a disco set, Ben UFO will be dusting down some of his supreme UKG and 2-step records for a garage set and Braiden’s ready to alter his inner metronome even further with a wanton boogie set. Joining them to tie it all together will be Hoya:Hoya’s resident dreamcatcher, Illum Sphere and Deviation mistress, Moxie ,who’ll also be going back to back to create something truly special.
Rebel Rave return to Room One with master of the Crosstown craft, Damian Lazarus twisting a bunch of rare music obscurities alongside his family fold of bold and brilliant artists that includes Maceo Plex, Subb-an and new signing, Amirali (live). With his debut ‘Beautiful World’ EP on Crosstown Rebels out now and a brand new album out in May, we spoke to Amirali over on the blog and get a link up to his free ‘Falling Down’ track to download. In a double dose of Rebel Rave madness we’ve also got hotly-tipped audio goods from Subb-an in the form of a house-busting promo mix.

Rotterdam’s Joris Voorn has been spinning and producing house and techno for as long as we can remember, with tracks like ‘Blank’ released in 2008, alongside the ‘Dusty House EP’ and his ‘Balance 14’ album, he’s become significant to the standards of electronic music and will be flexing the Room Two prowess alongside Terry Francis and a live set from m_nus staple, Marc Houle.

Meanwhile, Hold Youth, the Parisian label concerned with everything from hip hop to house music which was founded in 2011 by Seuil and Le Loup, show Room Three what it’s made of with Marc Schneider appearing as their special guest. Don’t miss our chat with the Hold Youth crew on the blog this week concerning their story so far and all that the future holds for them.

DJ Sneak
OUT NOW

One of House music’s true pioneers, DJ Sneak has the passion and drive to keep House music alive. Self-proclaimed House Gangster, Sneak has helped shape the course of dance music since the early 90s; his early music influencing the likes of Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx and Armand Van Helden. His signature sounds – funky filtered disco-influenced house and tough, jacking beats – have revolutionized and redefined house music for well over 15 years. Having begun his DJing career in 1983, Sneak continues to be at the top of his game: non-stop beat bumpin’ sets are a one of a kind experience in the electronic music circuit. He takes a transatlantic trip on fabric 62, bringing together bumping Chicago grooves with muscular European techno.
